Training on International criminal Law for Defense councils for Transfer Cases

Today Tuesday 29th August 2017; Rwanda Bar Association in partnership with Netherland Embassy and International Development Law organization (IDLO) have organized training on International Criminal Law for Defense councils for the Genocide Transfer cases in Rwanda. In This interest 25 councils, Member of Rwanda bar Association are gathered at Park In Hotel /Kigali for this very important Training.

IDLO is working with the Rwanda Bar Association to strengthen the capacity of Rwandan defense lawyers in international criminal law through legal defense education in the form of training, discussions and moot court exercises.The well experienced Trainers Ms. Yasmine Chubin and Kate Gibson from IDLO Will be training the First group of 25 members of the Bar Association during the next 4 Days so that Rwandan defense lawyers can be fully prepared to handle transfer cases in accordance with principles of Rwandan and international criminal law. IDLO is an intergovernmental organization exclusively devoted to promote the rule of law around the Globe.
